Environmental Auditing - A Training Course for Construction and Planning professionals engaging with Environmental and Ecological Clerks of Works -  28th May 2015

AEECoW will be running another version of this training course on 28th May 2015 at the offices of EnviroCentre, Craighall Business Park, 8 Eagle Street, Glasgow G4 9XA (Level 3). The course will cover all aspects of undertaking the EnvCow / ECoW role, from site planning, monitoring and auditing to incident investigation and record keeping.  It will also examine typical environmental constraints faced during construction on a range of construction sites.

Topics will include:  Environmental Legislation, The Planning System: Environmental Planning Conditions; The Construction Process; Environmental Impact Assessment & Mitigation; The Role of the Environmental / Ecological Clerk of Works; The Environmental Management Plan; The Skills required including: communication; client and stakeholder liaison.  Case Studies will also be presented to tie together themes from the day.

Presentations, workshops and examples will be used to engage participants throughout the day and to support their learning experience. 

This course will start at 9:00am and finish by 5pm and is open to both Members and Non Members of AEECoW.  Fees to attend, which include refreshments throughout the day and lunch, will be £120 for Members and £140 for Non Members.
